How to Get Involved

Below are some ideas for how you can use your skills and talents to deepen your partnership with the ministry in Ukraine.

* Summer Mission Program - Every summer a group of 6-8 college or seminary students spend 8 weeks assisting the Hungarian and Ukrainian Reformed Churches in Ukraine, Romania and Hungary by leading English Bible camps.  Click here for link to the SMP webpage.

* Lead a workshop or seminar - We need someone who could lead a conference, seminar or workshop on the following topics: health & hygiene, Christian education, teaching Sunday school, worship leading, youth work.

* Coordinator - Maybe you can't travel to Ukraine but would like to get involved from N. America.  We need coordinators for: prayer groups and Vacation Bible School materials

* Short-term mission trip - If a group from your church want to spend a few weeks hands-on in the ministry in Ukraine, we can design a program with your specific skills and interests in mind.

* Vision trip - We would welcome a group of church leaders to come for a short trip to see the ministry firsthand and, therefore, be able to convey to their congregation the progress and needs of the ministry.

* Translation sponsor - We are always in need of a book or material (ie. for Sunday school, VBS, Bible study) translated into Russian or Ukrainian.  If you would be interested in sponsoring a special project like this, please let us know!

* Financial partner - This ministry is dependant upon the faithful financial donations of partnering individuals and churches.  If you are able to participate in this, contact Christian Reformed World Missions.

* English teacher - The English school that Sarah was involved in starting is seeking a native-English speaker to teach upper-level courses.  If you're interested, let us know.

* Book sponsor - The Christian Reformed Church in Mukachevo which we are working with is seeking sponsors for the book given to expectant parents who attend the prenatal classes.  Let us know if you'd like to become a sponsor.

* Write a study guide - If you are gifted at writing and would like to write study guide questions to a book that has already been translated into Russian, then we can use the guide for Bible studies.
