This fund is to provide two $5000 grants - one for the operations of HHTN Global as we help develop it. The other is for the operation of Schools of Reconciliation.
HHTN Scholarships (204063)
This helps cover part of the costs of participating in HHTN events for those coming from under serviced communities.
Ukraine de Vuyst vehicle (805089)
As we prepare to return to the field, we will again need to purchase a vehicle. Resonate policy is that we must first raise the funds before we can purchase a vehicle.

New Realities at Resonate
We would like to share with you some of the new financial realities that we are facing in the coming year as we transition back to the Europe field. Resonate had been mandated by Synod to spend down reserves. This had allowed us to have some extra flexibility in budgeting over the last several years. At the same time we have been working at developing balanced budgets for every part of Resonate. Unfortunately, recent events in the Christian Reformed Church have led to a major decline in giving to the denomination, and, therefore, also to Resonate.
The immediate effect of these events was an across-the-board budget cuts of 15% this fiscal year (July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025). The follow-up effect is that we have had to cut our ministry budget for the 25-26 fiscal year by 75%. This does not decrease our minimum fundraising goal as that covers salary, pension, insurance, taxes, housing and some other “essentials” that don’t change. In fact, returning to the field means that we face a significant increase in our minimum fundraising goal for the next fiscal year. In addition to that, we now will need to raise significantly more funds for our ministry budget. These appear as projects that can be donated to directly.
As of July 1, we will need to raise $17,500 above our regular fundraising in order to keep doing the ministries we are involved in. The most urgent of these projects is $7000 to continue employing our part-time administrator for HHTN Global, Patience Mutie is Kenyan. She is married and has two daughters. She is vital to our work. This year she has been able to begin working full-time for us as HHTN Global has been able to pick up the other part of her salary.
We also need to raise funds for the annual European School of Reconciliation ($4500) and the International School of Reconciliation ($3000). We also have a goal of raising $3000 for the HHTN scholarship fund to support those coming from underserved communities so that they can participate in an HHTN immersive workshop.
This means that we need you now, more than ever. God has always been faithful to provide for our needs and to bless us beyond what we deserve or are worthy of. We trust in his continued faithfulness and provision. We want to let you know of our needs and of these ways that you can partner with us in this critical ministry.
Upcoming Projects beginning July 1, 2025
The most urgent project is to contribute to the vital employment of HHTN Global’s administrator in Kenya, Patience Mutie ($7000).
European School of Reconciliation ($4500)
International School of Reconciliation ($3000).
